Large family appartment with all the essentials. Great location on the port with several restaurants in walking distance. Great starting point for exploring the D-Day beaches and memorials. Hotel gave us the entry code and left us a key since we were planned on arriving after check-in hours. -

We only stayed one night, but talked about how it would be fun to stay longer another time. The beach and harbor is very close. Very friendly people in nearby cafes.

This is a lovely Chambre d'Hotes, in a beautifully restored old
building around courtyards, decorated in French country style, and very
chic. It is very close to the town centre and picturesque harbour, but
is quiet and peaceful inside. The breakfasts are quirky and delicious -

It was a wonderful and charming little hotel converted from an old girls school. The young couple there in the day spoke good English and were very helpful, and the woman around in the morning was very charming and helpful despite not speaking English. Breakfast was in the courtyard on a sunny morning. The room was charming and had wooden beams. A real fantastic place where we spent one night, centrally located next to the marina and an abundance of restaurants.

Very good location. We appreciated the heated outdoor pool with fantastic views of Houlgate. About 15 min walk down to the beach and downtown. The apartment were nice and comfortably furnished with good opportunities for self cooking. Daily delivery of fresh bread and some food selection through ordering at reception - nice service. Fab location for exploring the surrounding towns and countryside. The complex was clean and well maintained and the pool was very nice. Both myself and my husband thoroughly enjoyed our Spa treatments. The staff were extremely helpful in providing information and tips on where to visit and good restaurants nearby. The town itself is lovely - very French and not too touristy. This is a French resort so don't expect everyone to speak English. We loved the fact that we only saw one other Engl

The setting is lovely and the owners could not have been more welcoming. The studios are larger than I thought they would be and are very clean and well presented. The covered outside veranda is a nice addition with a lovely view down to the lake and over the surrounding countryside. Would not hesitate to recommend. -

I can't say enough good things about La Naomath. The setting was
peaceful and beautiful, and just a few minutes' drive to the town
center of Bayeux. The cottage was so cute, roomy, very clean, and
comfortable. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable,
even bringing us breakfast on our first morning as we had arrived after

We liked everything. The owners were very nice and friendly. We stayed
in the family room which was quite large (one large bedroom and a
sitting room). It had one full bath with a shower and another room with

and quiet. It was a perfect location for the D-Day sites (you must have
a car). The breakfast was good. Everything was clean and tidy. There was

Cherbourg is a quaint historic town. The hotel is on the waterfront with a scenic view. We were able to walk to the hotel from the ferry dock. This was our second stay at the Hotel Chantereyne and once again we couldn't fault it.
The staff are helpful and welcoming and have good knowledge of the area. The beds are comfortable and the rooms spotless. We loved the modern bathroom and the superb shower. Also great location, just 5 minutes from the ferry port and the town.
All in all a first class hotel.

We arrived after reception closed and the staff was very accommodating
and gave us very clear instructions over the phone. The hotel was easy
to find, the rooms had plenty of space and the kitchenette was really
handy for our earlier mornings. -
