What a special place for Americans! The hostess and host (English fluent) were gracious, friendly, good humored, and very attentive to all our needs and quirks. It was wonderful to have a gourmet community kitchen to cook a little supper, and they brought a sumptuous breakfast to our own quarters. The room design has every convenience and comfort; with beautiful and impeccable taste. Plus a really, really darling couple. What could be better?

What a fantastic gem tucked away but within walking distance of the town. Fabulously furnished by the owner who couldnt do enough to make our stay special. Fresh flowers and a bottle of wine to welcolme us. we were sad to leave and anxious to return.

Le Clos des Pommiers has beautiful bedrooms in a lovely house - very modern and chic. It's perfectly located just outside Bayeux, so you have the best of both worlds. It's surrounded by lush countryside, so you can feel completely away from it all, yet it's just a short drive to Bayeux.

Chambres d'Hotes le Clos de la Croix is a beautiful bed-and-breakfast in a small picturesque village of Carcagny. We were given a warmhearted welcome from the very beginning of our visit - the same feeling stayed throughout the whole visit. The hosts, Gilles and Michael (and beautiful dog Galopin) are just amazing personalities. The room we stayed was spacious and tidy, and we did have our own bathroom with shower and tub.

We absolutelly loved the place. As some of the prefvious reviewers said, the rooms are actually more impressive then in photos. owners) are fantastic hosts. The property is well taken care and the
breakfast are excellent. The rooms were luxurious and extremely
comfortable. Each day Eloise gave us some great restaurant
recommendations. We would definitely stay there again on another trip to
Honfleur / surrounding area.

The staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating.
The location was perfect for walking to the sites and to public transportation and right across from a large quiet park. The rooms were well decorated and very spacious. Ours looked over the garden on one side and the park on the other side. It was a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and filling and available for a reasonable time period.

We liked it very much in this Studio on top floor. We stayed only one night. Great attention to detail. Pascale helpt us a lot in finding a great boulangerie and sent us for a trip west of town to the very end. Nice beaches and little restaurants right at the beach. Would stay there again. Extra points for the Nespresso machine! -

What a generous, friendly couple, to meet us at their house in France. It was like meeting old friends. Thank you so much for making our stay in France so enjoyable. This farmhouse was the perfect place to stay, close to everything, the beaches, tapestry museum, as well as other museums. The breakfast was more than filling, we couldn't eat it all.

Location is perfect for d-day sites. We stayed six nights and although out in the country it is only 10 min from bayeux. Beautifully renovated, updated farmhouse. Friendly and helpful hosts...also provided helpful written info in English. We will always stay here when visiting beautiful Normandy. Very highly recommended by all 4 of us.
