Cosa dice la gente
Overall impression was of a family run hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Even though the hotel was old and could have done with a lick of paint, it was comfortable and secure. The location felt very safe with plenty of places to eat and was very well placed beside the metro which meant Paris was only 20 minutes away and all for 1.75 Euro or less if you got the carnet if tickets.
- Great location of the hotel
- Personal was really more than friendly
- Nice inside of the hotel, romantic
- Balcony to the street
- Room was not so small as we expected, there was enough space
- Bathroom on the room
- Near cemetery Pere Lachaize, which really worth visiting. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
moving late night and transport is there any time.
It was very clean and close to a metro station.
The desk workers spoke pretty good english.
The location, it's near to the nmetrostation Pelleport and just 5
min walks from the big one Gambetta. A lot of cafes and shops near to
the hotel and the area very calm. There are no poor people and I can
easily go back to the hotel late night. Not bad rooms, but they need
renovation. Good hotel for dmall budget and if you are going to spend
just nights. Very nice staff.
The staff is kindly and really honest. I did not make a lot of requests, but they provided everything I needed. The breakfast is simple, but good. It is really on front of Pelleport Metro Station and there are several options to eat on the neighborhood. The staff are trying to make a small renovation on the place.
The hotel has been according to my expectations - you get what you expect to get according to what you pay. It was a private room just for 50 euros/night.
The price and staff were friendly.
There is a public Laundry just beside, and internet Services in front. The bad room was clean in espite of the bad shape of facilites.
Mary's hotel is set off from the busy part of Paris. You get what
you pay for. Quick walk from the metro station.
A good situation in the city, the best price on letsbookhotel.com, properly
clean linen.
Metro station near the hotel.
Price with no expectations.
helpful manager.
Good location.
Near a metro station. Receptionist was ok.
- Bathroom was apparently pretty old. You can see some "maps" on the ceiling, but nothing terrible :).
It was very old.
Shower was way too small. Bed was uncomfortable and no elevator. The Mary's Hotel that was pictured in letsbookhotel.com was the other one off of Voltaire that I had stayed at before. It was 200% better.
There are no bathroom in your room. Just shared bathroom with the
others. No elevator, so every morning I have to go down from the 6th
floor for the hair drier and back. Rooms and bathroom needs renovation.
The look of the hotel are differs from the photos on the website.
The shared bathroom are almost never cleaned (possibly once every 15 days). The same for the toilets and rooms. The mattress and the bed linens are very old and uncomfortable. If you are alone and have no money to sleep 1 or 2 nights, OK. But if you need more than this, you should spend more 10 euros per night in a better place.
Little bit of renovation and installing equipment that eliminates external noise wouldn't harm :-).
Booked a room with a private bathroom, which we did not get. Also stated
there was a mini bar in the room, there was none and there was no WiFi
in the room as was stated.
The facilities looks in not a good shape, need restauration, our room that suppose was not smoking however smell like a cigaret.
If you are bigger than a size l, good luck being able to shower. Very
tiny standup shower. Dirty/stained shower curtain kept touching me
while I tried to shower. So unpleasant. Bed was as hard as a rock. Fire
alarms went off for no reason during the middle of the night. Only found
one person at the front desk that spoke English, and he didn't speak
it all that well. Spend a little more money and find a better place.
Quality doesn`t correspond to the price, no ascensor, one hairdryer in
the whole hotel (at least for the cheapest rooms), very old and used
furniture and no renovation during very long period. Pictures on the web-
site don`t correspond to reality.
Little and not so clean room. No internet at 6th floor. WC and shower in corridor.
It's convenient but very noisy. There is no air con if you visit when it's hot.
broken loo seat
broken cupboard door
broken soap holder in shower
no bedside lights.
The hotel rooms are very run down. Service was also poor, no clean towels or much cleaning of the room over 5 days.
I booked a single room with shower, but after regisration and
finalization of booking procedure - I've re-checked the booking
description - my room was w/o shower and toilet. The smell in room
was like in old dirty house... Pls don't book this hotel.
Toilet seat broken off and just laying next to the toilet. Whole room smelled of smoking. Pillows hadn't been washed. Hairs including pubic all over the bed. Cobwebs in the room. Generally badly maintained and cleaned badly if at all.
