Cosa dice la gente
Warm staff, despite a language barrier. The room itself was functional and clean. Despite its vicinity to a number of restaraunts, it was surprisingly quiet and its relative proximity to Gambetta was invaluable. Excellent value for money.
Room was fine, a little on the basic side perhaps, but ultimately worked well for our needs. Decent value for Paris.
Room was better than expected. Good value for money. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
the room was new and clean.
location: about 5-7mn walk from Gambetta station, and there're many restaurants, shops... around. We found a very good local restaurant (Chez le Papa) with delicious food and cannot forget the cocktail. The room is clean.
Rooms have newly been renovated; for the low price the hotel was very good, also good location next to metro station.
location - close to metro and full of nice food shops / bakeries / etc.
Very good price
spacious room.
The Location. It was near to the subway. I could go to everywere.
The location is convenient - the metro station is 7 minutes away.
the room is very good.
Service, staff.
Good location.
It was better than I expected as I read quite a few unfavorable reviews before checking in. The room looked exactly as in the pictures posted by the hotel and it was clean. We had the room right above the Pub that wasn't that noisy and after 1 in the morning the music from the Pub stopped, so if you plan to visit Paris until late in the night as we did you won't have any problem with the noise.
Great location, close to the metro station with good connection to the
city. Rooms were ok and quite clean. Ok value for money.
Location is reasonable and price was very cheap.
easy to find halal foods around the hotel.
Location good
price acceptable.
privacy.
Nothing! My wife didn't talk to me for one month just because I booked this hotel.
Decent position, near metro stop.
close to metro.
Nothing.
Lack of tea-making facilities was quite frustrating. Some of the staff were unable to speak English, but did their utmost to negate that (by using Google Translator on their computer!). On our first night, the twin room that had been reserved was not available, so we were place in a double room until the morning. We were so tired, though, that we didn't care!.
Would have been nice if there was a kettle and tea/coffee facilities in the room. Free wi-fi internet was a bonus, although would have been better if it was available in the room itself instead of just the hotel lobby in the main entrance.
Although room is good, the whole hotel outfit is not great. But its worth staying in en-suite room.
the reception was very old and it seems a bad hotel but fortunatelly the room are better...
very noisy, there's a pub right beside the hotel, no soundproof wall. It's hard to sleep in a street view room. No hangers nor wardrobe in double-room.
parking is not free as it is described, but a parking for EUR 18,- per day is offered nearby.
smell on the stairs
thin walls - get ear protection
very small bathroom.
The wifi was only in the reception area.
The hotel cheated about the free parking - there is no free parking possibility at all. I have chosen this hotel only because of this promise and was very disappointed and had to find a payment parking in the neibourhood.
no internet access in the room .
local tv only.
Very noisy, impossible to sleep due to always passing vehicles.
Under the hotei is noise pub.
In the letsbookhotel.com page was written that near hotel is car park.the nearest car park was just about 2 km away.i think it is not near. It caused seceral problems for us.
The bad smell on the hallway.
There is only wi-fi connection at the reception, but not in the room.
Staff did not speak any english, nor were they willing to understand any
french efforts.
The room was nowhere near what was depicted in the pictures. The whole structure is old, run-down and dirty. Room stripped down to the bare necessities (bed, desk) and bathroom shower without even a curtain. Utterly disappointing.
Staff - states 24 hour hotel but night staff insisted we were back by 1am or they would lock the doors.
Bannisters were taped together
Reception not welcoming on arrival.
noise from a bar underneath the hotel (music, loud talking) until early in the morning.
smell bad, noisy, no quilt, cold.
The hotel closes from 12 pm to 6 am. The receptionist had forbidden us to go outside during those hours.
It's like being in a prison, unbelievable.
lobby dirty, had bags of dirty laundry stacked in small lobby, only 2 people could sit in lobby. picture did not look anything like room we got. cleaning person left window open which allowed access to room by whomever.
The two cockroaches in our room, the inability of staff to deal with it, being placed in a room above next door's disco - no sleep till 0300, the inability of staff to do anything about it, the refusal to cancel and refund the rest of my stay although we were placed Ina slightly better room the next night. In all: the most awful hotel I have ever stayed in. Never ever again.
No elevator and they put us on the third floor, after I complained we
were moved to the first floor but I still had to climb a flight of steep
steps with a leg injury. Numerous roaches in the room and no air
conditioner.
