one of the most gorgeous hotels I have stayed in.On the Rue du Boeuf in the heart of Vieux Lyon, the building dates from the XVI century. ... cosa dice la gente » the old town of Lyon being situated right in the middle of it. We really liked the shabby-chic nature of the hotel. Our room was one of the duplexes where we had to go upstairs to bed. Cool! Let's hope they do not lose some of the charm with renovations.

We really enjoyed our stay. The school themed design is quirky and original. Our 6th rooms were light, airy, comfortable and stylish with exceptional views from the balcony. Absolutely charming hotel especially if you're of a certain age as
the school theme exudes throughout, including furnishings in rooms and a
sense of it at breakfast too! We loved it. Reception staff were so
obliging and friendly... Having failed to be alerted on your website to
the hotel's limited parking, we were saved from a fruitless search
around Vieux Lyon for a space by the receptionist's thoughtfulness
and consideration. Can't wait to return.

Lo staff è stato molto gentile e disponibile. La posizione molto centrale dell'albergo vicinissimo alla piazza centrale ed a molti servizi. La posizione dell'albergo è estremamente comoda sia per chi arriva in auto che a piedi con i mezzi. E' sobrio, ma fornito di sapone e abbondanza di asciugamani. This was a great place to get to see the sights, markets old Lyon.
Plenty of small boulangerie and other shops to buy food items to
prepare - (we booked a suite) instead of paying 10e for breakfast in
the ding room. There is a large internationally styled shopping
centre, (Confluence)including a supermarket and restaurants just one
tram stop away

station with trains to other parts of France and Europe. It was
however quiet at night. -
The hotel is conveniently located in the Confluence neighbourhood, perfect if you access Lyon by car from south. Parking is easy to find outside the hotel and they also have a garage. Staff is wonderful and eager to help. Ophelie at check-in was kind enough to help us choosing the room. Breakfast was good and not expensive. Position for sightseeing is great, if you don't feel like driving there is a subway station just 5 minutes from the hotel. Will recommend it to anyone going to Lyon.
