Our room was large, lovely, and peaceful, with a modern bathroom and
comfortable bed and pillows. The location on the main pedestrian
shopping street, Rue Gambetta, is perfect once you arrive. The street
can be packed with people, but it closed down at 8 P.M. when we were
there in April, offering complete quiet for the evening. We thought the
beautifully-presented breakfast was well worth the money. St. Jean-de-
Luz is a great base for seeing the Basque country, and Les Almadies is a
wonderful

Where to start?. Staff 5* + deserve a special mention. Nothing too much trouble for them - from a drop of fresh milk to detailed directions for wherever we wanted to go. The restaurant & bar suggestions espcially good. Lovely hotel, clean & well located. Loved our visit & intend to return in the spring.

La cortesia e la professionalità del personale - The central location and the cleanliness of the room and hotel were excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. - It's a really nice place to rest a bit, with charming environmental even fot our wallets ;). It's close to the village typical atractions.

The Villa is in a tremendous position with terrific views, not far from the town facilities and in a quiet spot. Our room was very spacious and well furnished. Use of the pool in an atractive garden. -

Everything else was just right for my stay, I had a very busy four days planned and Hotel Magenta was a very good central base :) -
