  We stayed here only for the last night of our holiday, because it was very near the Railway Station (we had no car) and the stop for the Airport bus was only 50 metres from the door. So it was an ideal departure point. We enjoyed a short swim in the pool on level 1.   Our stay at the Aria Hotel was absolutely excellent. From the minute we arrived, the staff (owners) were very, very friendly and helpful (providing us with a map and places to visit). The evening porters were always friendly and polite. Our room was spotless upon arrival, and was cleaned/re-stocked daily. A supermarket is just one block away. I highly recommend it if you want to use Nice as a base to travel to nearby cities like Cannes and Monaco by train.   Nice, small, recently renovated hotel in the center of Nice. The way to the sea and to the main station is about 10 min. The room was clean and big enough for 2 persons. The beds were comfortable to have sweet dreams during the nights. The new window protects well from the outside noises. The AC works well.
