The hotel is very close to both train stations which - A modern clean hotel very close to the station with interesting sights and walk nearby especially the canal. Montparnasse is a 20 minutee stroll away. The tour bus stops almost outside and of course the metro is across the road. We had room 604 which us at the rear with a balcony and we would recommend this room notwithstanding the fact that is one of the more expensive rooms

  Originally I booked two rooms for two nights. Upon arrival both the rooms were upgraded. Since my friends had to stay a few more nights in one the rooms, they were let to use the upgraded room during their whole stay. Huge respect to the staff helping my friend during their stay.   Vintage is quite close to Gare du Nord Train Station, only need to walk 10-15 mins.The staff was extremely busy but they were friendly and helpful. Vintage is clean and the breakfast is very good. I flew into CDG, caught the train to gar de nord and then the hostel is a very short walk up rue de dunkerque. Then further up the street is the pigalle and sacre couer just above that. Breakfast was good, plus there are supermarkets on the same street and you can cook your own food at the hostel. Wifi is free, staff are friendly. If you're prepared to accept that it's a budget option and don't expect the ritz it's a great choice. I fully intend to return.

Just around the corner you have Place de la Republique with several good places to have breakfast / brunch. Our favourite was Café de la Republique. I.e. this is a good locatio - The staff were really helpful and were happy to put our stroller in the cloak room each night so we didn't have to struggle with it in the tiny elevator. Also we had left a small item behind and they were happy to post it back to us. The rooms are small, but it was enough for our little 18 month old to roam around and stretch his legs.
