We could walk to the Seine in about 20 minutes and a further 10 minutes to the Eiffel Tower.   The hotel was amazing old French style! Very nice! Small, but fit its purpouse! The best part of it thoug is its closeness to the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triumph!
