  the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal as it is only 3 minutes from the Champs Elysees and close to Franklin D R metro line (line 1). Basic breakfast but frankly you don't go to this hotel for it but its location and friendliness of staff was an added bonus.   The hotel was amazing old French style! Very nice! Small, but fit its purpouse! The best part of it thoug is its closeness to the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triumph!   We stayed in the hotel Valadon, it was very narrow but funcionate. The reception was in an other hotel just across the street but we did not mind. When we arrived in the evning, the portier a young man was very helpfull and serviceminded. The room we stayed in had window towards a back yard and was clean and quiet. For the price, money well spent sinc - Position was great, right next to Rue Cler which had fabulous place for breakfast especially Cafe Central. Ten minute walk to Eiffel Tower and 2 mins to Metro station. Also a laundromat at the top of the street. We had the 2 bedroom family cottage. Our three kids could sleep upstairs and we had the privacy of downstairs. Everyone had plenty of room. Toiletries were abundant. We appreciated him putting us on the 6th floor to have an even more awesome view of Les Invalides. The rooms were breathtaking with a modern Parisian feel. We had a view of the invadilis, although a little more expensive, it definitely worth the money when you see a full moon hanging right next to the golden colored roof top at night! There are many nice restaurants nearby as well, serving traditional French food.
