  This hotel was very different to most we have stayed at. It was uniquely special. We were effectively welcomed into the owners' home (which is a very grand castle) and treated as a member of their family for the duration of our stay. All of the guests were invited to drink and eat together in the evening. Additionally: - the castle and grounds are... cosa dice la gente » beautiful and even better than the pictures. We visited with our small dog, Jasper, and he enjoyed playing in the vast gardens. - the pool area is ve - We were made to feel so welcome by the owners from the moment we arrived until the day of our departure. Wonderful, gourmet food which was plentiful and served by the very friendly staff. We also loved the free flowing drinks in the beautiful lounge area prior to our evening meal and met some lovely people at that time. A stunning chateau hotel and one which we would love to return to.

  Wonderfully restored middle sized old French house. Staircase seems ancient but beautiful. The decor throughout is tasteful but with the rationed use of bright colours. There is an open plan kitchen coffee, tea and biscuit station for use whenever. Large fruit tree gardens and table outside. Breakfast was generous continental.
