  We stayed two nights in this beautiful and historic building by the harbour. After a delicious French breakfast, we enjoyed stepping out onto the cobblestones to explore the city by foot. If you are Canadian and a history buff, you will delight in this port where French mariners, including Samuel De Champlain, departed for the New World. We were right next to a restaurant however we were able to shut the windows completely without light and were ABLE to control the temperature (air condition) in the room...no other place we were able to do this
