  We received a very warm welcome from the owner. When we initially said we didn't want breakfast that wasn't a problem (we changed our minds and had breakfast in the end!). The hotel is situated only a short (5 min) walk from the extraordinary village of Eguisheim. There was a music festival and lots of shops/restaurants/wine merchants! In the morning we had an excellent breakfast which kept us going until dinner so it was - Well managed. Private terrace in the garden attached to our room. Excellent breakfast. Caring owner who gave us a comprehensive guide to the restaurants in the village, and offered an early breakfast for us on our departure day. An air of quality about the property. Swimming pool bigger and better than we thought. Beautiful views. We were in the middle of the vineyards, but in easy walking distance to the village.
