  We went for the sole purpose of seeing Notre Dame du Haut in neighboring Ronchamp. I tried to book a hotel in Ronchamp, but there were none available, so I booked at Chateau de la Houillere. Christophe, the owner, could not have been nicer. When I asked him about getting a taxi, he said that he would pick us up from the train station, which he did... cosa dice la gente » . He also drove us into town for dinner, and picked us up when we we done. The next day he drove us to the chapel, and when we were done visiting, he - The proprietor was completely pleasant, solititous, and helpful. He got me a table at the restaurant in the village then drove me there, and even took me to a patisserie before dropping me at the LeCorbusier chapel in the morning. Must also add that he was highly attentive and answered every question I could ask. Highly accomodating. The house and grounds were truly beautiful, charming and relaxing.
