  A wonderful stylish hotel, peaceful and beautifully French, which is why we chose it. Lovely Decor, comfortable beds and an enormous sitting room shared with friends. Ideally placed for exploring Carcassonne Cite, the canal du Midi and shopping in the town centre. The breakfasts were delicious with fresh croissant and baguette, butter, jams, cereals, fresh fruit salad - The location was excellent for visiting the medieval city. It is a beautiful house which has been carefully and tastefully restored. The owner (Bernard) was extremely friendly and helpful and recommended several good restaurants for us as well as giving us directions. The breakfast was very good and our apartment was superb with French windows leading onto the well maintained garden. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Although this accommodation is on a busy road, we found that we were unaware

  Location to fortress, and right next to several wonderful restaurants with reasonable costs. Excellent breakfast with several choices offered. Coffee was much better than usual French coffee. Shampoo, soap, hair dryer were supplied and the room was spotless. Madame was very helpful with touring ideas and restaurants. An excellent valu - Nice little B&B really close to the old city of Carcassonne and about a 10 minute walk over the bridge into the new town. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Breakfast was great and plenty of choice. Room was clean, well decorated and larger than expected. Owners very friendly too.

  The staff at aragon were really friendly so even though we were unlucky with the weather they lent us umbrellas. The location is excellent a 2 minute walk to the medieval castle entrance. The hotel was very well kept with a lovely clean pool area and hotel rooms were spotless and cleaned daily. We didn't try the breakfast as we ate out but overall... cosa dice la gente » this is a great hotel in the perfect location at a good price. I cannot fault aragon. - The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. The bedroom on the first floor looked out on the Old City & the view was stupendous day or night. The swimming pool was faultless and a sun-trap for those who want it with some shaded areas. The hotel was very close to the Old City and a five minute walk away. The city of Carcassonne was a twenty minute walk into town and the car was not required after arrival.

  Quiet location, hospitable hostess, roomy accomodation , lovely breakfasts. - The Lady Proprietor was excellent - however the place is a B&B not a hotel and it is a large old Farmhouse, so accommodation was basic.
