Perfect location on the main street of Aix-en-Provence, above an excellent restaurant. Huge clawfoot soaking tub and separate shower, big fluffy towels, very comfy bed. Valet car parking service was great. In-house restaurant was excellent, and we found several more gourmet-level, friendly smaller restaurants within easy walking distance on the

We travelled on the Eurostar for our first time in Aix-en-Provence. The
hotel is really a restaurant with rooms but no less comfortable for
that. Our room was right at the front and so a bit noisy on the Saturday
night but the staff moved us to a lovely ground floor apartment at the
back of the hotel for the remainder of our stay. The staff themselves
were fantastic, the room(s) had everything you wanted, and a very good
restaurant just downstairs! We will go back.

Our stay at the Hotel De Gantes was amazing Marc the proprietor was so friendly and helpful advising us where to go and what to see showed us what the suites were like we have to go back just to stay in one ! The room was excellent, comfortable and best of all soundproof which is essential in an hotel positioned in the Cours Mirabeau. However it was the staff who seemed to anticipate our every need that stands out for us. Well done as this is rare and should be congratulated.

Veronique was quick to respond to my several emails prior to our arrival. The large apartment is in a great location, and quiet. Our room was clean and well appointed with kitchen and supplies. A very convenient location for exploring the centre of Aix, and close to
the bus and rail networks. I think it was just a 5 minute walk to the
rail station, but yet still in a nice area of town. The
owner/manager was extremely friendly and helpful.
I would strongly recommend these apartments to travellers who are looking for a chilled, stylish and central location.

Excellent Modern decor you dont find in those parts. Large room. Comfy bed and towels all done to a high standard. My sons were very impressed. I unfortunately did not eat but saw the very refined restaurant and spa. I will be staying again in a couple of weeks and I will be sure to check them out. -
