Cosa dice la gente
Beds were very comfortable, the staff was very very nice, and breakfast buffet for €6 was a blast! It might not be in the very center of Helsinki, but has so many attractions nearby, more than in the center. Many buses and the train pass close. Big lockers! (Just bring your lock ;-) ).
Even do the booking had me and my mom on separate rooms (1 for males and 1 for females) they do have mixed rooms, and since it's such a big hostal, they put us in one by ourselves; very nice from them. Overall: . tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
Location is nice. About 2 km from the bus station and city center. 3 km
from the ferry docks. Rooms are well maintained, chair for everybody.
Each bed has its own 2 plugs and light. They also give you towels if you
request. Buffet breakfast for 6.30 €. Common room for tv and kitchen.
Staff was helpful. If you walk 2km downtown, there you can take the
airport shuttle.
Good hostel, great value for money. 24h front desk, frendly stuff. Even dorm rooms are large, have a lot of light, nice and clean. Absolute silence after 11 p.m. :)
1 min to Olympic Stadion Tower, 10 mins to Sibelius Monument and seaside.
And breakfast, I guess it's one of the cheapest in the Helsinki!.
I loved that it was a stadium, waking up to the Helsinki Cup and seeing all the kids play was awesome.
Fantastic location. There were less people in the room than I was expecting, that was a happy surprise.
I like the location of stadion hostel, comfortable opportunities, for example, opportunity to leave my luggage at morning, far before check-in. And also nice atmosphere and decor at the hostel.
We liked that it was close to transport but far enough away from city to be quiet and relaxing. It was just a few stops from the city center. Cheapest dive in town!.
Very nice place, close to the city center, with good transport trams and buses to both the train station and airport. A lot of facilities in the hostel.
Clean and cheap hostel, not far away from the center of Helsinki. Good idea with map with places u can visit in town (cafes, pubs, night clubs, etc). All is excellent, friendly staff, good guests, quiet nights, clean place. Even for people in my age, 55+ it was an excellent palce. THANKS Maija.
Everything! Especially the dining area with the "Say hi to the world" board and that I could buy everything (like toothpaste) at the hostel.
The value for money
24 h entrance
Lot of people but not narrow
People followed the rules
Easy
Shower, kitchen, the linen on the house.
Nice and helpful staff, the hostel is clean and comfortable, everything what is needed for convinient stay is present. Best prices.
Facilities in very good condition and reasonable for the amount of guests. Private lockers. Easy access from city centre.
The staff were excellent and the location is perfect if you are going to a concert or event at the olympic stadiums.
The Staff is really nice and are always willing to help you planning your route trough the city.
I liked the peacefull place and it was like A home.internet is important for me to work with.
Easy Access to the Hostel at all hours and on the doorstep of the stadium we were visiting.
great !!! I was there to see muse ,really close to the olympic stadium great great great.
Staffs are nice. The surrounding area is cool. Easy to reach by public transport.
Friendly staff, cheap and tasty breakfasts, good location for walking or riding.
Very nice and polite staff, amazing atmosphere, pretty clean and comfortable.
as we were attending a football match at the stadium it met all our purposes.
to be in the Olympic stadium.
not so far from the center.
clean and secured.
There is a beautiful hostel. I like it:)
+:
Location, price, facilities.
Nice and cheap hostel. Very helpful staff. Great breakfast (6.30 euro).
easy to find,
without cheating (in the price all inclusive).
Free wi-fi, good breakfast, nice people, very good hostel!.
Availability of kitchen is a plus for budget travellers.
location is great and safe
very nice and helpful staff.
The address is easy to find. Cheap price. Large room.
The hostel is cheap, but it's clean and hospitable:).
comfortable, friendly, not very far from centre.
The location is good easy to get city center.
It was cheap and the bed linnen was clean.
Almost anything that a hostel should have.
sleeping inside the olympic stadium!.
its located in the olympic stadium.
easy to find location, near centre.
stuff, place and friendly people.
clean room, convenience position.
It's cosy and nice for adult.
Location is very very good.
Friendly, helpful staff.
price/quality is good.
Clean, comfort, safe.
good hostel.
location is pretty ok, easy to get to and in a more or less quiet part of downtown. Everything you might need (snacks, post cards etc) is available at the reception/common room. Dorms are roomy with tables and lockers (need to get a lock at reception) and light+power outlet at every bed.
The parking lot of the hostel was a treasure during a Stadium event with
crowds. It was a good blanket plus a great location during the Flow
festival where u could walk from the hostel a straight way (or by tram),
Large and clean shower spaces. All in all handy during the event.
It was comfortable and with good facilites, such as kitchen, vending machine with food and relatively close to the centre.
The 2 computers available; old desktops with an obsolete front-end that makes browsing a living hell :-P Other than that, this hostel is excellent!.
Internet is only available at the common room and the reception. No
internet in the rooms. This might have been done intentionally so as not
to let people stay in the rooms and make noise.
No in-room Wi-Fi, only in hall. Lockers don't lock.
It is an older hostel and not very well-kept. The bathrooms and kitchen were a little dirty but the rooms had charm and were cleaner. I also did not Iike that the showers were shared. I would rather be myself when I shower.
The only small downside, is no curfew, they are welcomed new guests. Quite impossible to sleep there, earplugs required!.
Hair dryer in the toilet didn't work, and in the women's shower there was only one.
You don't have enough pots and pans for cooking, but is not a big problem. You can manage.
The bed was quite uncomfortable.
I had no internet in my room. tuffles for feet had been sucessfull.
Top Bunk Haha if i ever visit helsinki again bottom bunk please :)
Wifi in the rooms would also be good.
It was small blow of wind through the old window in room, but it was not a critical. Generally it was warm.
though we were fully aware of the rules keeping quiet after 11pm was difficult,as groups chat.
N/A.
Kitchen is untidy and not well-equipped, but this is guest's guilt.
noisy, cramped room.
A little bit far from the center but
trams are accessible.
I have no lock for box in room, take it with you.
You need the security card to get into the kitchen.
No internet in my part of the hostel. Plus the common room was run down. Probably one kilometer to nearest restaurant.
Very very sorry to say this, but what I am going to say is the truth. The beds were the worse I have ever slept on in all my years of sleeping in Hostels. They make so much noise each time you lie on it or shift positions.Don;t believe me check it out.
breakfast was too expensive for us.
The mats are old and used. Not too comfy, but for a night its ok.
hostel have a breakfast but dont have a dinner.
It could be more comfortable for children.
Beds are not comfortable at all, my spin was tired after a car trip and the beds just hurted it more, better to sleep on a sofa in front of room 28))).
soggy bacon at breakfast.
there are no free lockers.
Not so easy to find, but you can ask locals.
Internet only in the common room, and it's really warm everywhere. Also the curtains don't exactly shut out the light. The men's room had a trough rather than individual urinals and I would definitely not go there wearing anything else but shoes.
The corridor smells old. Rooms are very basic and the air conditioning
does not exist. The breakfast should cost 5 euros (now 6.30) that's
how everyone would by it.
It's not in the centre but it's OK, and compared to the rest of Europe, a hostel in Finland is pretty expensive.
