I just loved the whole time while staying at Oakwood. They try there
best to cater for western cultures. There staff were just so helpful.
The cost of drinks in the hotel bar were a little expensive but

Easy and cheap (19RMB) travelling by cab from Guangzhou East Railway Station - especially if arriving or leaving at night.
Large variety of places to eat outside hotel.
Short bus ride to Canton Fair.
Washing facilities(need instructions for use in English though).
English was well spoken by front end staff.
Comfortable beds!!

I stayed during my business trip, and everything was almost perfect.
Free shuttle service to Canton Fair and back, very good breakfast
(although I'm vegan, I surprisingly had plenty of options, different
fruits every day, and good coffee). Nice and big rooms with all the
facilities ever needed during a short stay. Friendly staff. Location in

Check in staff were warm and friendly and treat customers on a personal note.
The location is central to shopping and digital plaza. Ideal for the dotcoms.
Rooms well equipped and really it felt like home away from home.
Breakfast was well presented,but little choice for the vegetarian .
The sauna/jacuzzi and steam room a little disappointing as no towels are provided and no attendants in the spa centre.

Very spacious, with a bathroom for each bedroom. The view from the floor-to-ceiling windows was wonderful. It was so nice to be able to spread out and work and relax after long days visiting factories. And the laundry room with the washer/dryer was an unexpected plus! I would definately stay here again! The staff was very helpful. -

We could spread our work out on the dining room table and relax in the living room with the TV. Also nice having a washer/dryer! I will always stay here while in Shenzhen.

We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment, it had all the facilities for a family or couple who prefer to do their own cooking and washing. The apartment was very clean and the staff were excellent. We had breakfast a couple of times and that was also excellent. This residence should have 10star rating it was fantastic. -

Stayed in a Business Twin Apartment with 2 double beds separated by a glass sliding door and twin aircond, kitchenet and washer/dryer. s good as 5-star hotel but with spacious room at very reasonable price. Very clean and well maintained. 5-10 mins walk to Liede subway station and close to new restuarants/shopping areas. The apartment is situated in a new downtown business area in Guangzhou and on the fringe of the old part of the city.Therefore it is not so noisy Would definitely recommend to

Great if you are attending the Canton Fair. They have clean, very spacious rooms. There's a kitchen and Landry within the rooms. My room invluded breakfast. It's good but not great. At free I'm not complaining.
I've stayed at the Hyatt and its same class but at 4 times the price.
Ascott is a great place for business and families. -
