We stayed at the small studio on Nueva Providencia No 1372 for two weeks in Oct-Nov 2013.

I live in the building, and with Travel Place being one of the Apart-
Hotel options (the best value) for my mother and her husband when
visiting me, booking this apartment in the same building where I live
for their trip to Santiago was very convenient. They stayed in the same
1bd apartment for 2 separate bookings (with a trip to Viña del Mar in
the middle), and apartment living where we could have some meals
together "at home" was very nice! Aside from being in the same

Very nice hotel situated within a business district. Some of the rooms
have outdoor grass patios, ours had a kitchenette, I'm assuming the
rest of the rooms did as well. The rooms are smallish, but not tight.
Breakfast buffet was fine for a hotel of this type. They had the usual;
eggs, meats, cheeses, pastries, fruits, cereal,etc. I'm not sure if

After a long journey and not having a visa and just a small run in
with the Customs people, when we arrived in Santiago it was more than
a pleasant surprise to be greeted with the friendliness of the staff
at the Garden Inn. The following morning again the staff were more

We found the room very comfortable. Bed sheets, mattress pillows best
quality out of all hotels in Sth America. Sound proof. Shower head
excellent. Front desk staff member was on his own and handled the
situation professionally but it did mean waiting to check in for 10
minutes. It was 9.30 pm.

The location is perfect to make a city trip. Most important
destinations can be reached by feet and the subway station is
close as well. The diversity of the breakfast buffet is huge,
however the "sugarwater" could be replaced by real
orange juice. For a city trip within a short time frame it is a
