Staff were friendly and helpful and remembered our names as we left and re-entered the Hotel. Our room was comfortable and quiet, the walk-in shower was excellent. The food was very good at the Grill room and breakfast, we had not realised that breakfast was included in the tariff and was very much appreciated..All services provided were very much appreciated and the Hotel was well situated for walking to places of interest and to Public transport. minute stroll to Canada Place. $8 taxi ride. The hotel itself is well
appointed and felt more 4 star than 3. The rooms are spacious compared
to European standards and well equipped, coffee maker kettle,
fridge/freezer and dishwasher in the handy kitchenette. Queen beds
were very comfortable and maid service excellent.

In room laundry facilities was a God-send, after spending weeks in coin-op laundries. Location is fantastic - there is an excellent Chinese restaurant on the same block (Dynasty) and an excellent coffee roaster almost directly opposite. 10-15 minutes walk to the centre of bustling Robson St. Complimentary parking is something rarely offered in Vancouver and this place had it. I liked that Skwachays provides residences for aboriginal artists and has a fair trade art gallery displaying aboriginal artwork. I liked the art installation on the front sidewalk. I found the room to be comfortable, safe and in easy walking distance of restaurants.

Superb location! My daughter and I had gone to a concert and the Rosedale is less than 2 blocks from the venue. Also, right next to all the shops on Robson, which my daughter really liked. When we arrived we learned that we had been upgraded to a one bedroom suite on the 18th floor, which was very nice and quiet. On site parking at a reasonable day rate is another plus. The hotel is very easy to get to as well - especially important for me as I am not from Vancouver and do not like driving

We enjoyed the room, food and the courteous staff. We found the location to be central to everything we wanted to do. The proximately to Granville Island markets and stores was really enjoyable and was easily accessed. We loved the food aand the pricing. The service from every member of the staff was more than adequate. -

The hotel has a very central location. The room we had and all other facilities were very clean and the shared kitchen and appliances provided are really useful to have (e.g. stove, microwave). The location is very good and walking distance from "downtown" with quick access to shops, restaurants etc. I would certainly recommend this hotel!

I will definitely be back to Lord Stanley Suites next time I come again to Vancouver. Everything was so good. Staff was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay in Lord Stanley Suites. I would like to take this opportunity to thank David who has become a buddy to my 5 yr old son. My son wont forget the high fives he did with David. Every thing. Easy 5 minutes to train or a nice 1/2hr walk to Downtown. Beautiful walk along the sea wall to Granville Island and it's markets. Shopping and eateries to suit all budgets close at hand.
