Loved the jacuzzi suite. The steamer in the shower was an added bonus. Room was one of the nicest that we've stayed in. Will go back there again! Buffet dinner was excellent, buffet breakfast was delicious too. -

Our room on the third floor was enormous and very well equipped. It looked like it had been recently refurbished with a pleasant colour scheme of browns, creams and coffee colours. The location is perfect. It's close to the Inner Harbour, BC Parliament Building and the famous Fairmount Empress. Walking less than five minutes, you will be at the coast. The Douglas Street, which is the street that Helm's Inn is on, has tons of restaurants, convenient stores and shops. You can easily walk a restaurant and grab something to eat. Just staying overnight as on train from Prince Rupert to Jasper, but it was a very comfy place and served our purpose. -

Efficient friendly staff but not overly intrusive or fake.
Kindly sorted out all questions and not with stock answers. Real, thoughtful, kind answers. I felt heard.
The kids had lots offered to keep them occupied, even though it wasn't a hotel perk. The staff knew of local events and special offers and that was great for two single mums to have at our disposal.

The hotel's location is good, for a stopover on the way to Whistler from Jasper. The design of the hotel was very pleasant and it was comfortable and clean. -

I like that it was centrally located and close to the hotel my where my fellow travelers were staying. Also I noticed it was on a city bus route plus taxis were located close by. The location was great. We stayed overnight whilst taking the Via train from Prince George to Jasper. We could walk there from the station which was just as well as there were not taxis. Staff friendly, we arrived around 10.00 pm and were directed to a nice sports bar next door for something to eat and drink. It was the cheapest hotel of our trip.

Loved the waterslide with the kids. The pool was on the small size but it wasn't a concern for us. The room was beautifully clean and the kids loved the flat screened t.v. Loved that the room had a few extras in it like a desk and comfortable chair. Staff were polite and ready to help or offer advice. -
