Although you have to travel about 3 km down a dusty gravel road to get there, it is worth it. Cedar Park Resort has manicured grounds and friendly staff/owners. Our accommodation was a 2 bedroom duplex cabin which was very clean and it had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. Playing cards were even provided. The atmosphere was casual and relaxing. I would stay again and I recommend the resort.

friendliness of Canadians!!). The place was small but that made it
quicker to heat up on the cold days we were here. Mini-fridge,
microwave, tv, lots of pillows, coffeemaker with good coffee...all the

・Clean rooms (There is a strong policy for bedbugs)
・Some people say this hostel is a bit noisy because the first floor is a bar but for me it's no problem. I stayed on the second floor (i.e. room 2XX) in this hostel twice and I didn't hear any noise from the bar. -

We loved the "social" part of the hotel as guests were very comfortable and would hang outside and everyone was so friendly to one another. Was very motorbike friendly and everyone felt welcome. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming as well. -

Room was very clean with good sheets, towels, pillows and very good mattress. Great location, close to ferry and waterfront and it also happens to be where the Greyhound bus drops off and picks up. -

Friendly staff, I was able to check in ahead of time. Checkout is 11 am, which is very nice. A liquor store is in walking distance, which gives you a chance of enjoying a stay the dark rooms with thin walls.
