We were able to bring our puppy along, and it was very convenient having an outside entrance/exit from the room on the first floor, loved it! The kids loved the pool/waterslide and the waffles/bacon for brekky in the morning. -

I have stayed at a great many hotels over the years and this hotel stands out in my mind for many reasons, and I can't wait to make another trip to this area and stay here again. -

Loved the jacuzzi suite. The steamer in the shower was an added bonus. Room was one of the nicest that we've stayed in. Will go back there again! Buffet dinner was excellent, buffet breakfast was delicious too. -
Beds were very comfortable, breakfast was excellent and staff were friendly

Very friendly and obliging staff. Comfortable room with microwave and fridge. Quiet location in small town. Above average continental breakfast. Free use of computer if you do not have your own. I chose this town rather than Drumheller to stay to explore the dinosaur heritage of the area, and was very pleased with this hotel.

The Motel and the rooms are well maintained and clean. We slept well in a quiet room. The staff was very friendly and informative. We will not hesitate to stay there again and recommend others to do the same. -
Undergoing some renovations, our room had two new beds, a new 40+" flat screen tv and a refrigerator!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. We usually stay at the Mettera, which is also on Whyte and owned by the same company. We decided to give the Varscona a try and it was great. I enjoyed their wine and cheese hour that they had for hotel guest and the continental breakfast the next morning was really good. It kind of reminded me of my stay in Sonoma and Napa Valley. Upon check-in we were treated like royalty! We were a group of friends who get together once a year to shop and socialize. The first night was a BBQ, together with the hot breakfasts a definite must-stay for next year! The rooms were spacious and the beds were exquisite! Bravo to the friendly housekeepers, always courteous and smiling! -

Comfortable rooms with lots of space. Excellent facilities which were available into the early hours of the morning which was great when you get in late and are in need of some food and drink.

we went to calgary to watch the rihana concert, it was withing walking distance and close to everything we needed. for the price it was very nice. we were quite impressed. even having parking for us made it easy once we got to calgary so we were not looking for a place to park every time we went out.
