It is a charming piece of heritage. It was very unique! Excellent for the historical minded, turn-of-the-century lover. Close to downtown where Conferderation happened! The owner and staff were great. I was a little confused that there is no actually 'check-in' but once all was figured out it was OK. Unique all the way around! I will stay here again!. Full of character. Tastefully decorated to the character of the house. All mod cons. Comfy, brand new bed. Unbeatable value for money.

The bed was VERY comfortable and the room was quiet. The hotel is conveniently close to downtown bars and restaurants. It was a very relaxing stay for me. When I was in the room, I was left alone, peaceful. I like old-fasion too. I liked the location and proximity to everything. I liked that there were private bathroom w/ shower. The location is excellent...owner goes out of his way to help with everything. Very clean rooms.. Great location. Historic and charming suites. Well equipped and comfortable. Excellent value.just like home. nice place . The location is great. Price is reasonable but you get what you pay for. location. location is good. In Downtown Charrlotowne. The room is clean and central. Location was excellent. Tenants in the upstairs were quite noisey. Coming in late night, early morning slamming doors and stomping up the stairs. Phone also would ring once several times a night and during the day. Could have used instructions on the phone too. Water pressure (not something the owner has any control over but a little frustrating). The shower was broken but the owner fixed it immediately. When I said he didn't need o come in to clean-change towels every day, I didn't mean to leave it entirely. The bathroom is a little tough to work in. Outside of the control of staff, the streets were really noisy, lots of people yelling in the middle of the night. The tv is at an odd angle, the floors squeak.not one thing. Tiny, awkward bathroom, too much furniture in room. Generally cramped. the bed. Noisy. Bed needs new mattress. This accomodation is not suitable for business users I was unable to obtain a receipt for expenses despite phoning the owner on a number of occasions The owner is rarely available in the accomodation I had to let a late arriving guest in at 1:30am. First there was no staff if you did not have a cell phone I don't know how you would get in. Second in 2 of 3 rooms the mattress was old and needed to be replaced. Spent the night trying to avoid sleeping in the middle of the bed. washroom.
