  Super!! Location perfetta, nella piazzetta principale e sul lago. Camera vista piazzetta spaziosa e moderna con un tocco antico, balcone con tavolino e due sedie. Colazione buona e staff molto gentile. The views of the surrounding mountains and lake are breathtaking, although from this location they are interrupted by other buildings. Staff able to speak English which was an help. Fresh trout - Friendly staff who spoke English fairly well, a clean room with a partial view of the water and town (and the next building) and a great restaurant downstairs. They also offer (included in room) a good breakfast of cheeses, breads yogurt and cereal, etc.

  The best thing about this place is definitely the hosts and their hospitality. They make every effort to make your experience feel like home. The rooms are tastefully furnished. Everything that you may happen to need during your stay is already there. There is parking on the grounds and location is bit secluded and away from the lake but beautiful... cosa dice la gente » . Traun river flows close by and offers a nice chance to cycle or a walk along the river. Free bike hire from the hosts itself is a big plus. - The facility had a lot of "ginger-bread" options. Nothing was lacking! Our room was extremely comfortable with a sink and mirror in it. We also had an extremely we-stocked kitchen/dining room and very nice private bathroom across the hall. The Host and Hostess were extremely gracious! Their home is within 1.5 km of Halstatt but outside the bustle of town. We loved it and would consider going back for a more extended stay!
