Location, location, location! We were greeted warmly and directed to our spacious and well appoimted room. Our room looked out over the market square, others over the church and the very best look over the lake.

The hotel has undergone a major renovation and our room overlooking the church and the water was spacious and very nice. There are two comfortable chairs and wifi is available in the room so it was easy to catch up on business. The food in the restaurant was excellent and breakfast was also great with lots of choices. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The shuttle is located at P1 Parking and is extremely convenient. The driver helps you with your bags and takes you down the very na

The gorgeous town of Hallstatt had experienced devastating flash flooding two nights prior to our visit and our hotel had been affected. Friendly staff who spoke English fairly well, a clean room with a partial view of the water and town (and the next building) and a great restaurant downstairs. They also offer (included in room) a good breakfast of cheeses, breads yogurt and cereal, etc.

The best thing about this place is definitely the hosts and their hospitality. They make every effort to make your experience feel like home. The rooms are tastefully furnished. Everything that you may happen to need during your stay is already there. There is parking on the grounds and location is bit secluded and away from the lake but beautiful

The facility had a lot of "ginger-bread" options. Nothing was lacking! Our room was extremely comfortable with a sink and mirror in it. We also had an extremely we-stocked kitchen/dining room and very nice private bathroom across the hall. The Host and Hostess were extremely gracious! Their home is within 1.5 km of Halstatt but outside the bustle of town. We loved it and would consider going back for a more extended stay!
