Reasonable value for money but very basic accommodation and is actually run by the property next door. The room was comfortable, cleaned daily, the staff were very pleasant, the was a free barbecue to use and a pool. It was great accommodation for the price. Even though there wasn't a sink to wash up in which a lot of people have complained about it was 4 steps to the bathroom sink which to me was no big deal.

We have been going to Abbey for about 20 yrs. love convenience of having everything on site. We were thinking the units were looking tired and for a resort could never work out why beds were standard doubles. However for the first time we had an upgrade and were delighted. We have been very loyal to Abbey and again love the location and service has been over all these years and staff changes, very good.

The short answer is ... everything.
The staff were delightful, right from check-in to final check-out.
The room was superb, well appointed and exceptionally comfortable and clean.
The restaurant would be among the best at which we have ever eaten, with the sensibly brief menu and wine list superbly backed-up by very polite and attentive staff.
Overall, our eight day stay would have to be one of the best hotel stays we have ever experienced and enjoyed.

Everything at the Amalfi Resort was excellent. Our villa was spotless and comfortable. We were late arrivals and our air conditioning had been turned on for us, vouchers for free Wi-Fi were on the table and a welcome pack for us to read. Arrived late in the evening due to travel and touristing, the manager contacted us to let us know that the key will be left out and that everything is ready for our arrival. Very spacious, clean & comfortable unit, well-equipped kitchen. Handy to Ellen Cove, Middleton Beach. I didn't grade the staff question as we arrived after the office shut & key was left out for us, and likewise when we left, nobody was at reception, so we just left the key on the desk

2 bedroom apartment had great living space and balcony. Staff most helpful during booking process and also on phone over weekend when office closed. Alliance Hotel right across the road served fabulous meals, friendly staff and lovely refurbished old pub. Also the little pizza joint was great too,cheap. 7/11 also next to that as well. Good vehicle parking access and great for getting from city around town and to airport. would definitely stay there again if apartment stay required.

from letsbookhotel.com. When we arrived at Rydges only one room booked - they
did not apologise - blamed letsbookhotel.com for not giving the correct
information. After a time another room was found for our friends but it
was no where near our room

the facilities were excellent & the host, Mike, was very nice & friendly.
The guest facilities with a pool table, dart board, library,games etc has everything you could want. A loveley outdoor spa & bbq area & well kept gardens. The breakfast is fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & have already booked our next stay.
