  Reasonable value for money but very basic accommodation and is actually run by the property next door. It has no reception area at all and is very empty kind of like a ghost town but the facilities are quite good. The pool area is great and the kids playground is great for families. Our room was a basic motel room with kitchenette - The room was comfortable, cleaned daily, the staff were very pleasant, the was a free barbecue to use and a pool. It was great accommodation for the price. Even though there wasn't a sink to wash up in which a lot of people have complained about it was 4 steps to the bathroom sink which to me was no big deal.

We were thinking the units were looking tired and for a resort could never work out why beds were standard doubles. However for the first time we had an upgrade and were delighted. We have been very loyal to Abbey and again love the location and service has been over all these years and staff changes, very good.

The staff were delightful, right from check-in to final check-out. The room was superb, well appointed and exceptionally comfortable and clean. The restaurant would be among the best at which we have ever eaten, with the sensibly brief menu and wine list superbly backed-up by very polite and attentive staff. Overall, our eight day stay would have to be one of the best hotel stays we have ever experienced and enjoyed.

  I'm not sure why this place has received quite a few bad reviews, when I have nothing to complain about. The staff were lovely and very attentive, and helped us out with using the washing machine and fixing a window. The room had very good air con and foxtel, and a pretty decent kitchen. Also the little pizza joint was great too,cheap. 7/11 also next to that as well. Good vehicle parking access and great for getting from city around town and to airport. would definitely stay there again if apartment stay required.

  We have stayed before and love Rydges, the time before last we had a problem with cleanliness. This time not a problem very good I come to Rydges when I do an expo. This time unfortunately I become unwell and had to cancel after 2 nights, and Rydges was very accommodating so it took away the stress.
