While the building is aging, enormous effort is put into cleanliness, presentation and updates as required. The BBQ area was delightful and Kathy & Pete made us very welcome. We were not deprived of our normal standards and felt at home! -

During the resent floods in Bundaberg we stayed at the motel because we had no boat left. The welcome we received was wonderful. During our stay the power went out and food was limited but they allowed us to continue staying and the even fed us. They even had a generator and allowed us to charge phones and computers. I can not recommend the Rivers

The food was excellent and our room was spacious with a view of the river. Bundaberg is very different and would only recommend for a stopover as we did. The people however were very friendly.

Once again, ( room 4 ) fantastic, clean big and comfortable. Close to beach, public transport, shops etc. What more could you ask for.

The hotel Manager was totally awesome, friendly and welcoming as we had travelled 5 hours to get there and nothing was too much trouble, Dined at Motel 98 Steakhouse restaurant and did not book and it was fully booked out and he fitted us in and the meal was exceptional best we have ever tasted.

Very close ot platypus viewing platform and the town centre. Convenient to all the restaurants and cafes. The rooms are comfortable and include great tea making facilities, a fridge and microwave. Also the rooms are aircondiioned and have a ceiling fan. The room was serviced and we could have a cooked breakfast if we wanted. -

What did i like every-thing .I travelled from Gippsland to Marybourgh and stayed in motels all the way, and the best was the Arkana. From the moment you arrive you are treated like one off their family,nothing was any problem to them . They even posted my excess baggage back to gippsland for me .I would rate it EXCELLENT in every way -
