  We were impressed at the quality of the accom for the price and the features like beach inlet bbqs - everything was 'neat as a pin' and better than some 4/5 star resorts for cleanliness. The location (approx 1.2km from main street) and ease of travel with bus and ferry services for our teenager and toddler (to beach at Hastings St) was also great.... cosa dice la gente » We felt spoilt by the simple niceties like quality soaps, a full size fridge, small store close by and easy bus ride to the supermarket. The differen - We were pleasantly surprised that the advertisements accurately described our unit. We had a ground floor unit which was easily accessed from the covered car space. It opened out onto lawns which led to the marina where birds and ducks frequently landed. It was very quiet and conveniently located. We hope to return one day, even in the middle of winter because the reverse cycle air-con meant there was adequate heating for cold winter nights, infrequent though they are in Noosa.

  We stayed in a 2 bedroom single level apartment in the Mermaid wing and it was so handy, and walked straight out to the pool area. Throughly recommend it. We had friends staying at the same time in a loft apartment and they wish they had of booked one like ours. Apartment was well stocked with all the things like vacum cleaner to a variety of kitchen untensils. Our apartment was reasonably spacious and had a balcony & a courtyard and both bedrooms had an ensuite.

  A couple of things could do with a lick of paint here and there, but we were entirely satisfied with our stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, very hot water and lots of it.   We were a couple with a infant. We were recommended to this hotel by a friend. It had cooking facilites we wanted for our baby. T also had Air conditioner, car parking and wi-fi which we look for where ever we go.   The gentleman that checked me in was just so lovely, old school Australian hospitality. The complimentary breakfast watching the morning news was just lovely. I've stayed in many economy accommodations in Toowoomba, and this blows them all out of the water. The room spacious, clean and comfortable with everything we required. The motel is close to the main highway but far enough away not to hear the traffic.
