The owners were so thoughtful. The accommodated an early arrival and greeted us warmly. The villa was immaculate as was the rest of the house. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone, young or old. We would return without question. -

We had made a reservation at Roydon’s for one week but found it more than worth extending and in the end we stayed for almost three weeks. Despite the season and holiday period and our rather short notice decision, we were given a generous discount for the extension period by the manager.

Spacious, light and breezy apartment right on the beachfront with glorious views of the beach/ocean. Nice balcony on which to relax while taking in the view.
Trinity Beach is a lovely beach area not too far from Cairns yet easy day trips to all the sights in the greater Cairns area
Kitchen is very well equipped including shopping bags, esky, all the utensils, pots and pans you need. The apartment also had washing machine/dryer, aircon in all major rooms including bedrooms.

We had a superior ocean view room on 22nd floor. Excellent view but a bit windy so the balcony didn't get a lot of use. Apartment was excellent. Very clean, quiet and comfortable.
Staff were extremely helpful and attentive and sorted any minor problems we had.

We stayed in the king spa room. Although it said it was a 2 person spa, i doubt that my husband and i could both fit in it, but enjoyed seperate spa's. The room was spacious and the bed was one of the best hotel beds we have slept in. Breakfast was includeded and it was a great selection. Would stay there again. -

Family room was great with the 2 bedrooms - enough space for 3 teenage daughters. Staff were easy to deal with (and spoke clear english) and made changes easy -
Meal from Capricornia Resturant was excellent. Glad room offered basic items like microwave, sink & plates.

We loved our time at the Grand Mercure. Staff are friendly and very down to earth. The facilities are great we spent more time in the pool then we did at the beach. The location is awesome you can smell the beach and plenty of restaurants to go to. I would rate this place very highly. -

we were there for 4 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was nothing to want in the way of cookware, kitchenware etc. and our travelling picnic basket was never used as it was all in house. -

I live in Brisbane but had study to catch up on for exams that being on tap at home was preventing, so I checked into Midtown for 5 nights. Room was good size and bathroom nice and clean. It was quiet and handy to where we wanted to go. Magazines to read were a nice touch. Breakfasts were well priced. Staff very friendly and helpful, even leant us an umbrella when it was raining. -
