Room and bathroom layout (position of basin a plus) and plenty of bench space made it easy to organise ourselves, especially for breakfast. Retrieving the toaster and jug from an overhead cupboard rather than one at floor level was great and convenient. Heating was effective, plenty of tea and coffee available and we always like to know we have a minibar even if we don't always use it. Hot or cold breakfast options included in tariff very appealing. Restaurant next door provided wide choice .

Room set up well and towels and toiletries were set out well. Lovely breakfast, with good options included in room price. Lovely manner of proprietress on departure. Very friendly, lovely cat adopted by the owners. Lovely olde world atmosphere and amazing gardens/fine art/antique surroundings. Friendly, Welcoming hosts thoughtful extras eg breakfast included, car window cleaning equipment with each unit. Great value for money restaurant food cooked to perfection. Very popular with locals so that says something!. We loved the restaurant in which the food, service and surroundings were excellent. We were surprised to see the standard of paintings in the restaurant including Sydney Nolan, Pro Hart, and many others. The room was roomy, clean and provided all we needed for a one night stay. We loved the 'old world charm' of the place. The restaurant located next door was such a charming old building. The staff (owners) were extremely friendly and very helpful. We will definitely stay there again. The suroundings are great Our airconditioner was "oldish" but very quiet. Convenient overnight stop for us. We would stay again. The spacious room Plenty of bench space for bags, etc. Everything we needed for our stay The lovely gardens. the restaurant attached to the motel,food was excellent and the staff were professional and very friendly. Very clean unit with little extras. Cooked breakfast included and was on time, hot and very tasty. Rooms were a good size, but a bit dated. they were clean and the beds were comfortable. Airconditioner showing its age - a bit noisy. Absolutely nothing!. It is dated (aroud mid1970s) but with character of that time. The trucks going by until about 12pm or I went to sleep. A little bit dated. nothing. Traffic noise. Closeness to heavy traffic on highway. Not an issue, but need to note that it is located about 3 km from centre of town. if i stay again at this motel I hope to find new and comfortable beds. Gardens a bit overgrown and very close to a busy road. Bed was a bit hard. Truck noise from highway. Motel is right on the main highway. Needed earplugs to cut out traffic noise at night. Road noise. Needs a bit of an update including new bed. heavy vehicle traffic passing during night not good for light sleepers. no outside lights on arrival. breakfast late and eggs slightly overcooked. Close to main road, open personal grooming/washing area. road noise. As I told the owner (Evan) the units are a bit tired,need a spruce up. They really need the internet connection. The garden needs some maintenance. I know you've had a very dry spell, bnut the dead and dying trees should be removed. A bit too close to the main road for comfort, though we found that we were eventually lulled to sleep by the surge of passing long- haul trailers. Unfortunately, the road traffic noise kept us awake during the night. Breakfast was not quite what we ordered but was still good. The room was very dark and very dated and it was very noisy being so close to the main road. Although set back a bit from the main hwy, was noisy with trucks throughout the night and the bed was very soft. Road noise from the highway was quiet noticeable throughout the night. Would be nice if the TV was updated and if rooms had internet availabilty. The shower was a bit small but it was built some time ago. To far from the city centre. The close proximity to the road meant that our sleep was disturbed numerous times by trucks using air breaks on the road.
