This was the most beautiful Hotel. The service was above excellent. The staff were so friendly and catered to your every need and the breakfast is out of this world. If it was a ship it would be just like the titanic. Would definetly recommend. Conviently located to everything. Cant say enough wonderful things about it. Me and my husband loved it!!

This place looked little tired but the rooms were large, very clean,really great location with lots of eating places near by also street car straight across road and the staff very very helpful. Breakfast was also included and was really nice and large selection. The only negative was that we stayed the weekend of Jazz Festival and the room price nearly doubled but we would certainly stay there again loved it

The location in the Garden District was within walking distance of the lovely antebellum mansions and great restaurants. The streetcar was right outside our door. It was a 20 minute ride to the French Quarter. The neighbourhood was quiet after the noisy hustle and bustle of all the sights of downtown New Orleans.and safe for an morning stroll. The

We booked at the Avenue Plaza at the last minute because our reserved hotel room elsewhere had a broken pool. For $10 more a night, the amenities were more than doubled. We were so happy with our stay at the Plaza I will book there every return (business) trip. It is worth not "shopping around" to stay there.

Upgraded to king size bed. Quaint location w/garden patio. 1/2 mile walk to French Quarter. Hosts were nice. Breakfast was fantastic. I was allowed 12pm check out which made a big difference to me. I would return again.
