The Avalon is a lovely B&B on the quiet end of Duval, or at least as
quiet as it ever gets in Key West. We went for a relaxing long weekend
with relatives. There is no bar on the premises, but Pearls B&B is
just around the corner with a fairly lively and eclectic clientele. The

Yvonne went out of her way to help us with sunset booking; the staff is friendly and helpful. We liked the spacious bathroom/shower and the netted bed, plenty of closet and drawer space. The full breakfast served on the quaint front porch right on Duval St. made for a glorious start to the morning; great people watching spot. The cookies and lemonade in afternoon is a nice touch. Private parking within short walking distance.

2 blocks off of Duval Street, Our king room was very comfortable, clean

We loved everything! It was beautiful, with lush tropical landscaping
around a lovely pool and hot tub, reclaimed brick pathways and calming
white wood inside and out. I wanted to sit on the verandah sipping mint
juleps, though the complimentary chilled white wine from the reception
happy hour was just as good. Conrad and the other staff we met were very
pleasant, and the brown bread and boiled eggs at breakfast were much
appreciated after the sugary offerings in other hotels on our trip.

comfortable as possible. The small courtyard was lovely, relaxing, lush

This hotel was very accommodating. My boyfriend and I took the ferry
from Fort Myers to Key West. The Artist house was a very short walk from
the landing. The room was beautiful with high ceilings and an en-suite
bathroom. The staff was extremely welcoming and very friendly. Duval
street and many of Key West's main stopping points are also a brief
walk away. Highly recommended for any couple vacationing in Key West.

Loved absolutely everything about this hotel! My husband and I stayed her for our honeymoon and we could not have asked for a better place to stay. The hotel has the best location and the staff was amazing. They helped us with every request and question we had. Close location to restaurants and bars along Duval street and to Hemingway house and southernmost point, yet quiet and well appointed. We had a room by the pool that was clean and with a good sized renovated bathroom. Simple but filling breakfast with fresh cut fruit. Reception is closed after 6p, but are available for emergencies after hours. Staff went above and beyond - when our toilet plugged up late one night, one of the staff graciously came by to fix the problem quickly.

The Truman Hotel is perfectly located (and very easy to find-just head all the way down the US1-it'll be on your right eventually) 2 blocks (under 5 minutes stroll) from Duvall St. The hotel looks stylish in a Key West Art Deco way; the staff were efficient if not overly friendly; the room was very well appointed (we were on a balcony overlooking the pool) and the pool side was a great place to breakfast. This place is awesome!! Just a few blocks from where KW Express docks. From the moment we entered we were greated by Christina, who is the bomb! She and Magda took care of EVERYTHING we needed. Had the perfect room right next to the pool and outside shower. Breakfast was great. Magda even went out of her way and made my friend a weaker pot of coffee (with a warning "Very weak coffee")! Will (and already have) recommend this place to anyone. Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Loved the curb appeal. Especially the greeter cat. This little b&b is so quaint, perfect for the Key West setting. The small patio/pool melded with the poolside rooms so that it was almost an indoor/outdoor feel. The location was perfect within walking distance of numerous tourist sites. The roosters and ambiance added a perfect feel to the Key West experience.
