Every thing was perfect since arriving to the hotel, really clean, big rooms, wide beds, free wifi, breakfast included ( not super though and lacks protein) but for the price you are paying, cannot ask for more, its enough till lunch :) . Very clean, employees were polite, smiling, friendly, and helpful. At first, we were disappointed that we didn't have a better view of the bay. Then we realized that very few rooms in most of the hotels had "front row" rooms. So, we used the Baymont Inn for breakfast and sleeping and actually spent time on the beach. In our opinion, the Baymont is the best value along the bay front. Breakfast was good and front desk was friendly and helpful. R. Blair

Despite being extremely busy for the Labor Day weekend, the front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. No attitudes, which is a welcome change in today's customer service. This inn was a good location with very clean facilities. The front office was helpful and answered all my questions. The room was large with a separate area from the sleeping area which contained a desk, table, microwave and refrigerator. The price was economical and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The staff people were so welcome when I had a issue the solve my problem imediatlly. I recomend this hotel for those welcome peopple from front desk and everywhere. -
Location, staff very friendly and helpful, even though it was budget friendly, we were not treated like 2nd class citizens. I will definitely use this hotel again.

It was exactly what I wanted from our trip to Galveston, and with the unexpected upgrade to a suite it just made our trip even better! We loved the whole experience. Enough towels, essentials, breakfast, no extra cost for the bottled water in the room. the view was fantastic, everything was walking distance and the poolside at the Hotel Galvez was

The hotel has spacious rooms and vanity area is very nice with 2 mirrors. It is within walking distance of The Galveston Strand shopping area and several excellent restaurants. Hotel location is also excellent for someone that is departing or arriving on a cruise and want to have an extended stay in Galveston.

I arrived late for check in but the person that checked me in already had everything ready for me. She was very friendly and courteous. She was excellent and made me feel very welcomed. It is nice to see people that actually care about giving good customer service. -

The staff was nice and even helped us fill a very small cooler with
ice from their machine even though a sign was posted saying we were
not allowed to. In their defense from management, it was a very
small cooler.
Also, the walls were incredibly well insulated. The room was SILENT, which was awesome. -

Nice place, staff was very, very friendly. I asked for two Queen rooms next to each other, and this was arranged without a problem. (Other hotels in Galveston would not guarantee this is for some reason). The reception area was being rebuilt, which means that the breakfast area should be quite nice when done.

The staff was friendly and willing to do anything to keep us comfortable. It was a very comfy place for the price. I wasn't looking for fancy just a nice room that had a nice feel to it at a decent price. I definitely recommend this place. Why spend a ton on a place that your staying in for a couple of days? This place is definitely good. It would definitely go back to this place if I make a trip to Galveston again. They take good care of you.

Hotel staff were all fiendly and helpful. We cruised from Galveston on
the 14th and returned on the 21st, the Hilton provided us with complimen
tary parking for the cruise duratoin. An extra perk that many other
hotels in Galveston do not offer or charge extra for utilizing the
service. We didn't get into the swimming pool due to a cold front

The staff was amazing. However we were very dissappointed with the lack
of cleanliness within the pool area, especially the pool. We Understand
its hard to keep clean later in the day, but my son & I were there
every morning by 9:30am and the pool had straws floating , cherry stems,
hair balls etc. For $300 a night, we were quite disqusted. Other than
that, the hotel was fine. Again the entire staff was excellent.

This hotel is right on Seawall Blvd. but there is no sandy beach access area; instead, there are large granite/asphalt blocks broken up (to fortify the sea wall?) and lined up in several rows. One might walk further west a few blocks and find better beach access.
Most people here drive to the beach anyway. There is open parking along Seawall Blvd-

The very friendly and hardworking staff. Everything was always clean! Whatever you needed they took care of right away. The food service lady needs assistants! There's too much for her to do alone although she does it!!!

Our room was right outside of the pool. I was pleasantly surprised that I couldn't hear any of the pool noise.
The Inn is dog friendly, including providing bags to pick up after them right where you need them.
