My wife and I had our 30th anniversary at the Galveston Tremont. I have stayed at hotels around the world and that was the nicest staff that I have ever associated with. When they found out it was our anniversary they upgraded our Queen room to a HUGE two room suite with 2 bathrooms and a living room w 12 foot ceilings and a beautiful chandelier! Then later that night sent up complimentary wine, fruit and cheese... A very sweet surprise!

Lovely accommodation, with a great swimming pool, the beach is at the back of the hotel and an easy 2 minutes walk along a boardwalk from the hotel. The two maintenance staff we had dealings with were wonderful we had a problem with the washing machine in our apartment ( I think it was my inability to work it correctly) and he came and helped me sort it out. When we arrived the gate from the apartments' patio area giving direct access to the swimming pool was locked as a safety feature to stop

It was exactly what I wanted from our trip to Galveston, and with the unexpected upgrade to a suite it just made our trip even better! We loved the whole experience. Enough towels, essentials, breakfast, no extra cost for the bottled water in the room. the view was fantastic, everything was walking distance and the poolside at the Hotel Galvez was

The hotel has spacious rooms and vanity area is very nice with 2 mirrors. It is within walking distance of The Galveston Strand shopping area and several excellent restaurants. Hotel location is also excellent for someone that is departing or arriving on a cruise and want to have an extended stay in Galveston.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable and appeared to be recently updated. We also enjoyed going over to Palm Beach, the water park located on the property. The food in the restaurant located on the 1st floor was delicious! -

Every one was friendly and helpful and the facilities was very accommodating for our family,the location was the best attraction for us being steps away from the beach we were able to walk more than drive, our room was very clean and fresh. the value was fantastic, we really enjoyed our stay and we can't wait to come back my grandsons loved every

We loved everything about the hotel, but the staff made our time special. It was our honeymoon and when Macie who is one of the staff found out she had champagne sent to our room. The view of the beach from our room was amazing. Our whole experience was wonderful.

We've stayed at the Hotel Galvez many times. Notice I said "many", that's because the staff is awesome. From the moment you pull up to the valet at this beautiful, historic hotel, you feel special. The Galvez Hotel is a beautiful old hotel that has been magnificently restored and kept up to date. It is right on the seawall and beach and has a rich and interesting history. I like that this is prominently displayed and guests are made aware of its history. We especially enjoyed the older gentlemen curator in the lower level where a lot of pictures and artifacts are displayed. This gentlemen should be specially acknowledged as he brought the history and stories to life.

Hotel staff were all fiendly and helpful. We cruised from Galveston on
the 14th and returned on the 21st, the Hilton provided us with complimen
tary parking for the cruise duratoin. An extra perk that many other
hotels in Galveston do not offer or charge extra for utilizing the
service. We didn't get into the swimming pool due to a cold front

The staff was amazing. However we were very dissappointed with the lack
of cleanliness within the pool area, especially the pool. We Understand
its hard to keep clean later in the day, but my son & I were there
every morning by 9:30am and the pool had straws floating , cherry stems,
hair balls etc. For $300 a night, we were quite disqusted. Other than
that, the hotel was fine. Again the entire staff was excellent.

The rooms are really nice! The room we stayed in had a big master bedroom with it's own bath. There was a 2nd bedroom and bath, and the couch pulled out into a double bed as well. It had a full kitchen, complete with cooking and serving utensils. There was a microwave and a decent sized refrigerator. We had many meals in our room during our trip,

Dana and Jim were the best. Dana was quick and courteous at the front desk. Jim was a delightful surprise as our shuttle driver. He was professional, courteous and informative. Jim went out of his way to make our trip memorable, even suggesting shrimp n' stuff for lunch on our way out of town. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our vehicle was left in
the parking lot while we were on the Carnival Triumph cruise that was
delayed a few days and they kept it without having it towed and
everything was secure. Room was very clean and the bed was a dream. Wish
