  The Hotel is placed very convineantly, close to the train station, on the river front and on the door step of the York Dungeons and York centre. Beautiful, traditional room with lovely big bed, lovely view of the river from the room.   We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Saddle Inn. We were in York for our friends wedding which was being held in the Pavillion hotel next door. The room was lovely and warm, Simple, comfortable and clean and the en-suite was lovely and clean too with a nice warm shower. We were so comfortable we slept in a little bit on the Saturday morning but w... ce que les gens disent » e weren't being rushed out of our room the staff were all very friendly and pleased we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend for a value for mo - The staff were very friendly and helpful.They were very welcoming and the Saddle itself has a very comfortable atmosphere and decor. The rooms were cleaned, hoovered and beds made every morning. The ensuite was spotless and well equipped with shower gel, shampoo and spare loo rolls. I would recommend this place to anyone. There is a seperate door for coming and going which you are given a key to, so privacy is not a problem and you can come and go as you please. I will be booking again.

  It was nicely situated in a very quiet part of walk and just a 5 minuet walk away from the city walls, the holme lea manor was very clean and tidy staff wre excellent very freindly.   We had a lovely super king size bed its was the let comfortable bed I have ever slept in! The owners were lovely and breakfast very nice. Didn't have to walk far to York town centre where there was lots of offer for all ages. - Comfortable clean and spacious room in a pleasant B&B with attentive, welcoming hosts.   Our stay was just a dream in every way — from the incredibly warm and helpful welcome from Les, to Al's terrific travel recommendations, to the clean, so-cozy rooms, to the roses in each room, and waking up to the smell of freshly-baked bread. Can't wait to go back! - Location was perfect for visiting York, Les & Al were so hospitable, friendly and welcoming and took time to recommend things to do/see for first time visitors to York. Room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was delicious with a wide choice of food. Would highly recommend Abbeyfields Guest House and would certainly stay there again!
