  relaxed atmosphere. plenty of facilities. little things like shampoo/condition, bodywash and towels in gym/swimming pool etc. - just that nothing was too much trouble for the staff and that they made it a most enjoyable stay

  A lovely, oldfashioned hotel in a elegant part of Scarborough. Great location for anyone using the Spa for entertainment purposes as we did for a Jools Holland concert. Easy walk down into town centre and access to cliff lift if daunted by the walk back uphill. The food is good, well cooked and presented, the dining room looks lovely for dinner in... ce que les gens disent » the evening. Every member of staff working at this hotel are special - just great service for a great price. Very clean, warm with cosy public areas. - staff were helpful and friendly, hotel was very clean including rooms and modern with all you needed in them. room 108 has double and a single bed, sea view and very lovely inside. breakfast was excellent and served to your table, good location for sea view, short 10 min walk to bus stops for town and other areas. good value for money, a nice 3 star hotel and would go back. me, my 5 year old daughter and my mother stayed 3 nights, pools is great as has a shallow bit for kids, bit cool but ok
