  Glad we made the choice to stay here. Tremendous welcome and attention. Caroline was at the door to welcome us and help with the considerable luggage. During the visit I left my phone in a shop, went back and it was shut, told Caroline who knew the owner, got in touch and the phone was returned. Attention to detail - lovely thick large towels and dressing gowns, spare blankets and hot water bottles, biscui - I took my friend to Rosebud cottage for a birthday treat. We had a wonderfully relaxing few days away. Caroline and Adrian are perfect hosts, ensuring our comfort at all times, even providing 'birthday treats' on our return after a day exploring the local sights. They are friendly and welcoming, without being intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble. We will both return in the future with our respective families and friends. A lovely place to relax and recharge the batteries. Thank you Caroline

  It was modern and well Maintained and well equipped and extremely comfortable. They provided a welcome pack of milk, bread, butter and Jam along with a selection of tea bags,coffee and soft drinks.   Excellent hotel not part of a chain. Service and hospitality first class and the hotel restaurant food was as good as all the reviews suggest, if in the area would stay again - Excellent rooms and excellent service. A very friendly atmosphere. The staff did everything to make one feel at home.
