We have stayed at the Wool Merchant's on a number of weekend occasions now and have found it offers very good value for money. The staff are helpful, the rooms very clean and (in our case) spacious with good bathrooms. We haven't eaten in the on site Italian restaurant yet but the breakfast on offer is superb ! We are already booked in for a couple of Saturdays next year on the strength of our previous stays. All in all, great value especially at the price.

Very tastefully converted from student accomodation. Good but expensive restaurant. Pub as part of the 'unit' and great surroundings. Lots of local amenity information everywhere. Wehave definitely decided to use this hotel again. - We have stayed at Weetwod before but it was better than ever this time.The room allocated was at the end of a corridor- a long way from Reception and I requested a move as it was so quiet-no problem to move us and to a better room-lovely. Excellent staff and excellent breakfast.

Delightful surroundings, a charming building that has been sympathetically and recently restored to a very high standard. The Staff provided an outstanding service, ably supported by an excellent chef. The evening meal was excellent; terrific flavours and superb value for money, as was the breakfast. And if you like a good ale there are plenty to choose from. Very highly recommended.

I personally thought that the hotel was exceptional value for money and have already expressed an interest in staying there again as I may be down that way on business often. The hotel, facilities, food and staff were excellent as was the room that was allocated to myself. - The food was excellent. Good Breakfasts.
