  from when we got there the reception area was clean and the staff very friendly and helpfull.the rooms are clean well equiped bathroom was clean had a big walk in shower,the bed was comfy and warm asked fro two extra pillows and they where there when we got back.the breakfast was brill really liked the buffet idea,wanted fried eggs not scrabbled a... vad folk säger » nd the kitchen did them for us no probs.all in all excellent place to stay ideal for shops and visiting a few bars.would recomend hotel and if i go ba - We have stayed at the Wool Merchant's on a number of weekend occasions now and have found it offers very good value for money. The staff are helpful, the rooms very clean and (in our case) spacious with good bathrooms. We haven't eaten in the on site Italian restaurant yet but the breakfast on offer is superb ! We are already booked in for a couple of Saturdays next year on the strength of our previous stays. All in all, great value especially at the price.

  Superb hotel, the rooms were fantastic and modern incl. leisure facilities. All staff helpful and happy. Only stayed 1 night but will be back for a long weekend. - Fantastic modern hotel with everything you could want for a pleasant stay

  It was very convenient for the motorway. It was in a beautiful location with stunning views across the valley. The food was excellent which meant we didn't have to find somewhere else to eat and that made it all the more relaxing.   A central well priced hotel with an excellent staff who were very helpful. The facility were above average. A very good stay thank you - The reception staff were awesome especially Innocent! Rooms impeccibly clean, god facilities, nice view and close to bus station.

  Well simply just loved the room we were given it was a great size compared with other friends room we had every up in our room for pre drinks before heading out it set the mood jsut right. The room service was great and efficent, staff were helpful and caring.   We needed to a hotel within the area and had not stayed at Weetwood Hallbefore. The facilities were superb and the cleanliness was of a highstandard throughout. However, the attitude of the staff was excellent -nothing was too much trouble and they were welcoming and friendly. Without doubt we really enjoyed our stay at the Woodman Inn. - Delightful surroundings, a charming building that has been sympathetically and recently restored to a very high standard. The Staff provided an outstanding service, ably supported by an excellent chef. The evening meal was excellent; terrific flavours and superb value for money, as was the breakfast. And if you like a good ale there are plenty to choose from. Very highly recommended.

  I personally thought that the hotel was exceptional value for money and have already expressed an interest in staying there again as I may be down that way on business often. The hotel, facilities, food and staff were excellent as was the room that was allocated to myself. - The food was excellent. Good Breakfasts.
