I found the hotel very cosy and intimate. The bedroom was absolutly beautiful. Will definatly be coming back. - Warm and friendly even though a bit "posh".

I came from USA for the Service of Blessing in St. Mary's. I just loved the whole of the Ickworth estate. It was great to be able to see the work done on the church and graveyard and be able to see where my family are buried. See the monument and where monument cottage stood. I hope to come again. -

Location was perfect for what I wanted to do. Room was a perfect size. Other hotels could not compete with the price I got. - Very comfortable relaxed atmosphere. Excellent menu, well prepared food. Very pleasant grounds.

Allthe staff were welcoming and friendly and despite being alone in a largehotel ,I did not feel "out of it". The hotel is in a lovely situation in the country,just ideal for a wedding reception with plenty of space for guests to move around also you have other facilities for people to make use of their time there. - the easy to use enviroment of the hotel and all the facilities is second to none, and the managment team should be very proud of all the staf

I stayed here for business. The room was clean and tidy, nice little biscuits with tea/coffee etc.
Yes the hotel is slightly tired, but in a quaint way, felt very homely and personal, much like the staff, very helpful and polite.
The broadband is quite limiting, many words are banned. even sensible ones that I needed for work, but not a real issue.
Breakfast was excellent & service quick and friendly, a good choice of hot & cold.
Yes there is housing around the hotel, but if you want so
