I loved the atmosphere and decor with all the history of the school. Theroom was very comfortable. We were visiting our daughter in stirling asshe has had a baby we hope to return - Friendliness and helpfulness of staff. restaurant food very good.

I liked the fact it was a lodge with my own door going out onto a small verandah. I had my dog with me and this was great for her to get out and in. Privacy to chalet and car parking at the door. Chosen as dog made welcome and access for exercise easy. Good freshly cooked food, good portions including an excellent choice for breakfast. Bed comfortable, en.suite and facilities for hot drinks. Have used again and will do so in future for one night stop over. We found the staff to be very helpful and the open fire in main building was a welcome sight in the cold weather.

We had a lovely family room that we reached via a set of stairs through our own door. There was plenty of room even with the double bed, two single beds and a cot! The room was completely ready for us including the cot set up and lots of towels. Wall mounted tv with children's channels! Gorgeous setting in a beautiful building. Easy distance from Blair Drummond Safari Park.

The staff were very welcoming an attentive. The room (#8) was huge with very comfortable superking four poster bed and lovely bathroom with clawfoot bath and separate modern shower. The food (dinner and breakfast) was delicious. We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to stay there again soon

We've enjoyed our short stay at Balquhidder Braes Holiday Park very much. In fact, we were sorry we didn't stay longer.
The cottage features a romantic working fireplace is well furnished and equipped and provides sufficient privacy.

Unless you like going for long walks there isn't much to do. We went a drive into Callander.
Would be good for romantic weekend away if the price was right.
