  I checked in early evening and was greeted well by the Managers, then taken straight to my room. They made a real effort to accommodate me and always with a smile. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. My Executive room was very clean, tidy and quite large for what I had expected. I had evening Dinner at the restaurant which was very good val... ce que les gens disent » ue for money but the food was delicious - their chef was very good indeed. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty on both days. I enjoyed my stay there. - The staff were very attentive and made us feel very welcome - even though they were very busy with the restaurant and bar area.The evening meal we had on the Friday evening was excellent. We will be booking the Millgate House Hotel again for our visit to Newark next year for the Vintage Tractor Show.

  great local and only a short walk away from the main town centre and at the same time was off the main roads so noise was at a min.. - Great location, only a five minute walk from the centre of town. The room had everything one would need for an enjoyable stay, the beds were very comfortable.
