The hotel is set in a very good location near the sea. It has character of the old seaside town hotel, complete with tartan style carpet! Some lovely garden with tropical plants including a eucalyptus tree. I found the manager on call, Alex, very helpful when I needed change of mattress. stayed for 2 nights with a party of 7. and when we arrived we we`re greeted by a very nice chap at the reception and given the keys to the rooms to relax.and basically from that moment on the 2 nights was excellent and all the staff smiled and nothing was too much trouble.the 5 course meal was fab,the beds comfortable & breakfast ample.all in all a lovely weekend had by all

The location is superbe, with magnificent views from our room, the dining room, lounge and terrace. The staff were most attentive and helpful, and we enjoyed the food. Lynton is a great base to explore Exmoor,and the hotel is easy to find and beautifully placed to walk the towns of Lynton and Lynmouth. -

The room we stayed in was a gold room, clearly refurbished to a high standard. Luxurious room with a view out over the gardens and down to the sea. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Ideally placed for a five minute walk down into the harbour where there is a range of bars and clubs. There is a slight hill walk down and back up to the hotel but we didnt find it that bad although it could be for the less agile. All in all a fantastic stay and we will definitely stay again.

Apart from the very pleasant boutique nature of the hotel, the service was excellent - efficient and friendly, definitely not fawning with loads of "Sirs" and "Madams"!! - It's close location to our friends.

We had a room which opened onto the garden, a lovely quiet position. We had a twin room, my duvet was too hot so it was changed for a sheet and blanket by the very nice cleaner. There were 2 armchairs, often only 1. The dining room is beautiful. -

Hi again everyone , im staying here @ ibis hotel in plymouth this week ,
this hotel is so relaxing very close to marsh mills shopping centre.
Staffs are very nice and friendly, good value for money. If you are
visiting Plymouth for either bussiness , pleasure, weekend get away,
family trip or just plain stop over then I would recommend this
hotel.

The room was nicely furnished, clean and quiet enough to sleep well - there was some noise outside quite late from passers-by returning home as it was a Friday night, but nothing too disturbing.
The reception staff were pleasant and efficient; parking was secure and close by.
And I was particularly grateful for a proper ironing board! -

prepay to reception on arrival. One of the best breakfast buffets I have

The location was perfect with everything on our doorstep, we parked the car in their car park(added bonus) and did not need to drive again till we left.
Caroline and Alan great hosts with a very welcome tray of tea when we arrived and great breakfast. Longmead is a beautiful house that is full of warmth and character. Would definately stay there again.

As a cycling group, several of us arrived late but they kept the kitchen open late to feed us which really was appreciated. Breakfast was fantastic and set us up well for our second day of cycling! Lovely place with friendly staff.
