Very helpful staff. Stayed here as a single female. Large and very comfortable Double/Twin room - I think I was upgraded. Shower only. The noise from the bar was audible until 10.30 but went quiet before I needed to sleep and this was a Friday/Saturday in September. -

Loved the room and sea view, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom gave the choice of shower or bath. It was scrupulously clean and well looked after.
The garage was underground which saved the car from seagull droppings! It was also very secure.

From the very first moment the staff were excellent, parked our car for us, took our luggage to our room, very friendly but professional at the same time. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the decor very elegant, I think it is more for the older generation , I am in my late 50's and my husband early 60's but we were the youngest there !!

It's what an English pub/hotel should be. Great room overlooking the churchyard and tower. Friendly staff. Informal dinner in the bar. Breakfast was very good and set us up for the day. We were made very welcome. The room was very spacious. The
food/beer/cider all very tasty. A popular place to eat as
there was a long wait for those who did not book. We enjoyed our stay
and intend to visit again in the future. Very well placed for visitors

The catering for the function we attended at the Hotel was really excellent. - Although we were only staying overnight the comfort, cleanliness and ambience of the hotel was great. We had a lovely evening meal and breakfast in a beautiful dining room - we would hope to come again.

Extremely clean, simple and convenient. The bedding was very comfortable, and the location unbeatable. The free parking next to the beach is very handy.
On requesting a sea view due to the room being booked for an anniversary, staff obliged and also left a congratulatory card in the room for arrival. -

The location was spectacular, very quiet and tranquil with the sea lapping just feet away. There was a very friendly welcome throughout our stay and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and we were impressed that the hotel used local suppliers including Devon wines, real ales and locally caught fish. -

The staff was friendly and fantastic and accommodated us with a meal upon our arrival even though it was after the scheduled time. Definitely worth a visit and my family and I would be happy to return any time.

Everything, we were well aware that there was no car park, the car park
was easy enough to find and very cheap at £3.00 for 24 hours. The
family who run the hotel are lovely, friendly and helpful. The
breakfasts were amazing (struggled to finish every morning) and the

This was a great place to stay in Ilfracombe, the location could not be better with fantastic views from our room, lots of restaurants along Fore Street with Ecklectik having a roof terrace - amazing! The service at the hotel is really friendly and warm, they even left champagne, chocs and strawberries in our room when they found it was my birthday - totally amazing and way above the sort of service you would expect - fabulous!!
