Exceeded my expectations, the room was large with lots of free space as was my en-suite. It was probably the best family run hotel we have ever stayed at. We will be back and will recommend to all our friends. The owners were very friendly, the room was clean and of a good size, the food was to die for. Oh and it had a pool, sauna and Jacuzzi. Me and my friend traveled down for a wedding and choose this hotel by luck. I'm glad i did and i would definitely come back and use it again and again. Robert who i believe was the owner was only happy to help very welcoming and his staff were just as nice.

Lovely hotel, full of character and the staff are wonderful, Rob the owner couldn't of been more helpful, a mine of information about the local area. Spacious rooms and bathrooms, and tasteful decor in a lovely old building. Breakfast was delicious, and wish we'd tried the restaurant in the evening, the pizza looked amazing. Great location in a lovely seaside town, will come again!

Just a short 1/2 mile walk along the path opposite the hotel to the centre of Bideford. Breakfast was very good, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Cycle hire on the Tarka Trail in approx 1 mile away. The view from the bedroom and dining room over the fiver was superb.

Staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and courteous - they seemed happy to be working there. The house and rooms were beautifully decorated and clean and comfortable as well.
