  the staff were very helpful and courteous, i cant fault the service ,including the night porter , the rooms were nice clean and for the price really good value for money , I would definetly use Alder House again - I found that the Hotel was relaxed and informal; the bed was very comfortable and the hotel was not too noisy.   The room was lovely as was the hotel and it's surroundings. Loved thehuge bath!!! Didn't use the bar or the restaurant. The staff werefriendly and efficient and room service was good. - the food was excellent, and the rooms were clean and spacious.

  In a rather full hotel the staff really went out of their way to accommodate us. We were visiting in Gildersome and this location was perfect. - Location was good. Easy motorway access. Convenient for overnight stay as we attended a wedding nearby.
