  The owner of the establishment is very friendly and helpful. It turned out that my booking was messed up (but it was not his foult!) and instead of two nights I was booked for one night only. He offered me the second night in another, more expensive place run by him, at the same price that I had been prepared to pay while making the booking.   The B & B would be a little difficult to find without a sat-nav. It is situated close to the town centre on the edge of the ‘Bogside’. The place is a little oasis in a sea of apartment blocks. When pressed he can even give tips on really great places to visit further afield. T - Joan (who runs the B&B) was very friendly and accommodating. Joan went out of her way to make our stay very enjoyable and she was very helpful in providing a map and pointing out all the bars/restaurants/shops across the city. The B&B is very close to the city (3-4mins walk) and restaurant/bars are near by. The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. All in all, it was a great visit to Derry and when we go back, we will return to Amore B&

  It was lovely, spacious, clean and very comfortable place to stay.The rooms are well equiped and thwe semi wet room bathrooom was excellent. A lovely peaceful location aids a good nights sleep. The proprietors are very welcoming,friendly and nothings a problem. I highly recommend Groarty House. - Showers were excellent

  We can only say that this is one of the best B&B's that we have stayed at. The owners were friendly and very accommodating. We were given suggestions of places to visit both in and around Derry, and also a 'history' of the troubled times of this area that was as informative as any you would receive on a tour. For anyone who is travelling for an extended period - This is a lovely private home setting with secure parking. The hosts are warm and very inviting, and our stay was quite enjoyable.   Very central hostel within Derry. Location is spot on for those wishing to go out and about in the city centre. There is also good off-street parking.
