  I loved everything about the hotel. Every member of staff was reallyhelpful and quite lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. The bookingout time of 12 noon was realistic and breakfast between 7 and 11 wascertainly more civilised than some hotels.   A real 5-star experience. The hotel excels at every opportunity. Staff are courteous and friendly. The building is amazing, the decor very pleasing. Our room was huge with everything we could need. So glad we chose to dine in the restaurant and relax after dinner in the Whisky Room where service and selection were excellent.   Loved the comfortable mix of modern and traditional; state of the art bedroom with giant flat screen, but with deep traditional Victorian style bath. Comfortable furnishings. Superb modern walk in shower and appreciated the double sinks. Like the feel of the hotel, that it was a bit of a 'warren', not clinical corridors with endless doors. Helpful staff. - The bed linen and towels are lovely, very luxurious and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice. The hotel is close to the city centre, around a 10- 15 minute scenic walk. There are restaurants and a supermarket very nearby. Walking distance to the train if minimal, easy to manage luggage. Staff were excellent. Highly recommend this hotel, it is very beautiful.

  Had a great stay at Burswood Guest House, the attention to detail was first class, down to dressing gowns, slippers, chocolates and real napkins (not the usual paper serviettes) The breakfast was excellent a great selection of fruit and a lovelly cooked breakfast. There was a bus stop nearby which took the strain of parking in the city centre away... ce que les gens disent » and a great pub nearby. It was a pleasure to meet the owners, George and Maureen, they ensured we had a comfortable stay. - What a fantastic place to stay! This was a two night treat weekend at the races for my father in law and did he get a treat, as we did also! It was like staying in a 5 star hotel. The breakfast was better than most top business hotels I have stayed in across Europe. The attention to detail in the bedrooms and the dining room was fantastic. George the owner is a lovely guy and the service is second to none.
